It has been a very long time since I made cookies the traditional way. We have gotten so used to just slicing off pieces from a chub we bought in the deli section of the supermarket. I enjoyed handling the dough, rolling it out and using the cute little cookie cutter that came along with the package. The whole process reminded me of making cookies decades ago with my mother who taught me how to cook. Now for the real test… do the terriers like them? YES, of course they love them! I saw your ad in BARk Magazine recently, and decided to try your cookie mix.  I have two Akitas and they like their dog treats.  I made them the easy/fast way you show on the back, and even a single guy can make them.  They make lots of treats, and they keep well.  Thanks for an economical way to give my dogs gourmet treats at a reasonable price.  Easier than I thought.  Andy R. Short story:  I've now made each of your treats.  The first was the oatmeal/applesauce.  The dogs were OK with that, but I think to them a "treat was a treat".  They all like cheese so that was the next batch.  They were a little better received.  Then to the peanut butter.  Every dog loves peanut butter!  They were a real hit.  Last Saturday  I did the BBQ.  Used a sweet baby back rib sauce.  Somehow the dogs knew I was making cookies for them.  They sat right at my heels as I was mixing the dough.  Rolled it out on a cookie sheet, cut them into squares and placed them in the oven.  Went upstairs to work on my computer.  When baking time was up, came down to the kitchen only to find all three dogs staring at the oven, waiting for the treats to come out!  When they cooled down I gave each dog one and they went ballistic!!  Mike L.
